Dental Care for Dogs

Dental disease is one of the most common medical conditions we see in domesticated animals. It can be a significant cause for weight loss, infection, anorexia, or discomfort.

What types of canine dental care services are offered at your hospital?

We offer a wide range of dental care services, such as dental scaling and polishing, dental radiographs, extractions, tooth root canals, and local nerve blocks.

How often should I brush my dog’s teeth?

It is best to start daily brushing as a puppy so your pet can get used to it. We recommend brushing every day.

Why is oral and dental health important?

Oral and dental health play an important role in the overall health of a patient as pathogens from the oral cavity can move to other organs of a pet through the bloodstream.
